  Astronomy 100L - Lab

A beginning Astronomy laboratory course for non-science majors.  In this course the scientific method is applied to the analysis of experimental astronomical data.  Whether skydiving on Mars or determining the age of the universe using current Hubble Space Telescope data, students will find this course as interesting as it is educational. 

ADVISORY: Astron 100 or concurrent enrollment 

Graded and credit option. Students enrolled in Internet courses receive information and instruction online at http://dl.coastline.edu/. Students will purchase course material from the Coastline Bookstore.
