Required Textbook

MICROSOFT Word 2003 by Nita Rutkosky, Paradigm Publishing
This book includes one CD-ROM that contains the files students need to complete the exercises and assessments and a booklet that provides information about SNAP Testing. This testing will be described on the website later in the courses.

If you will be completing your exercises and assessments at your home or office, you must have Microsoft® Word 2003 and Windows XP.

If you do not have Word 2003 or Windows XP at your home or office, you will need to enroll in a computer lab in order to complete exercises and assessments. Coastline Community College offers these labs. Lab times and locations are shown in the schedule under COMP 300L. Computer labs have qualified instructors on duty to help you.

Check your book now and make sure the CD is included. Sometimes it is in the middle of the book. If you purchased your text at our bookstore and find  the CDs is missing, please call one of our staff members at (714) 241-6101.

You may access the student files from the publisher's wibsite at http://www.emcp.com/college_resource_centers?index.php?GroupID=4760

I recommend purchasing your text through Coastline's bookstore.
