Web Design/XHTML introduces students to the foundations of Web design, including planning, creating, and publishing a Web site. It emphasizes coding at the HTML level rather than using a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. You will be using a basic text editor or an HTML editor in this class, not a WYSIWYG editor. The course also covers some critical issues related to Web design often overlooked (e.g., background information about the Internet and World Wide Web, copyright issues, etc.)
