Web Sites
In an essay form, write an evaluation to include your analysis of

  1. Design of the web site:
    Your impressions of the layout, specifically the display of information; i.e., the balance between text and image, color scheme, size of fonts, and maneuverability within the web site.
  2. Accuracy: Use your textbook to compare and contrast the correctness of information. Answer any question posed in the weekly assignments (e.g. on the Dawes Act in week 1).
  3. Authority: Who or what institutions are the source of authority for  the web site? Check the URL domain.
  4. Objectivity: Is there a bias or point of view?
  5. Recent Coverage: How current is the web site? Is anything from links to information outdated?

Also – what other links are worth visiting? Would you recommend this web site?

Finally,  your report should be in a hard copy, between 2-3 pages, double spaced, normal margins, spell-checked, and in 10 or 12 point font.  Also - attach the Home page (page 1) of each web site of each report along with your current email address.
