Scroll down past the globe and left
click on LOGIN

At the School Login type
coast

In the Password box type
coast

Left click on Sign in
-
You will see a list of all the
textbooks used in these courses.
Click on the textbook for your
course:
BC 107A – Keyboarding Short
Course
BC 107B – Keyboarding Mastery
BC 108 – Ten Key Mastery
BC 109AB – Skillbuilding Mastery

Left click on Open existing student
file.

Left click on the ticket number of
your class.
-
Scroll down the list until you
locate your name.

Left click on your name. If
you don't see your name, email
Professor Taylor.

Left click on Open.
-
Type 1 as your password.
-
You will be asked for a serial
number.
Turn the Num Lock and Caps Lock off before you type in the serial
number. This is a one-time use number located under the CD in your
textbook. This means you cannot sell your book because each student
must have his or her own serial number

The serial number will be in this
format:
4 numbers 4 letters 4 letters 4
numbers
Be extremely careful to enter the correct numbers.

Click on OK.
-
You are now at your class
instructional site.

You will see buttons at the top
of the screen.

Notice that there is a button for
printing. I would recommend printing each screen you click on for
future reference.

You could three-hole punch these
papers and place them in a notebook for your future use.

Left click on User Info and type in
your information. Proofread carefully.

Your password is already shown as
an *. Don’t retype it. This is the password you
originally typed in as 1.

Left click on Setup and click on
each tab at the top of the screen. Read each page carefully. You will
end up on Finish.

Left click on Introduction and
click on the 11 tabs at the top of the screen. Follow the
instructions.

Double click on the Lessons Book,
click and follow the instructions for the use of your textbook.

You will see Free Form, Progress
Reports, Grade Reports, and Message Center. The CD PowerPoint
demonstration describes how to use these.

Be sure to view the PowerPoint
presentation on your CD. It will make a lot of sense to you once you
have gotten logged in.
